Message from Superintendent!

August 13, 2021

The district is required to place on our website our Return to School Plan for the fall of 2021 in order to meet Federal and State guidelines.  The plan was approved by our Board of Education on June 21 and revised following a discussion at our August 11th BOE meeting. Currently, we are planning for a full, in-person return to school, 5 days a week.  In alignment with the Governor’s Executive Order 13A, masks will be worn by both students and staff in all school buildings and classrooms when we return in the fall. Please review the details in the plan at your convenience, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or comments:  rodriguel@newtown.k12.ct.us.
